Job Description:

Signature Lead Company is a provider of proprietary business and consumer databases, sales leads, mailing lists, e-mail marketing, and direct marketing solutions. 

Our sales department needs experienced outbound Sales Professionals with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals. Acting as a Business Consultant, the selected individual will contact prospective Signature Lead Company clients to develop and foster business relationships. Individuals will demonstrate how our products and services will increase sales and reduce costs for our clients.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Make outbound calls to prospective customers as needed to generate sales and promote our product line.
2. Uses consultative sales techniques to explore client needs and offer suggestions for enhancing client marketing efforts.
3. Utilizes effective sales techniques to handle objections and effectively close the sale.
4. Build sales team and mange the team.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of sales and marketing practices and procedures.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
3. Ability to build productive business relationships with clients and meet goals.
4. Knowledge of direct marketing practices and products.
5. Basic understanding of Marketing preferred.
6. Closing ability required; previous sales experience preferred.
7. Management skills in order to build a highly effective sales team
8. Microsoft Product knowledge preferred.
9. Must be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

As a contractor, this position is a commission only position.  However, there are residual income opportunities with this position.  The new hire will work out of their house and will be in communication with the main office using email, phone/text often.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
1. College degree in Business, Marketing or related area is preferred, but not required.
2. At least two years prior experience working in the sales or marketing area.
3. Experience with computers and a knowledge of software programs such as: MS Office, Excel spreadsheet, MS Word, etc., preferred.  We use a proprietary online count and order system, therefore a general understanding of computers and software programs is an important part of the job.

State:

California.  However you will be working from your home, telecommuting.
